Authorities are seeking public assistance in locating Eduardo Barraza, a 15-year-old from Newark, who has been missing since October 4, 2025.
He was last seen on the 600-block of Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard in Newark.
Eduardo is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 115 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a white t-shirt, and black sweatpants.
He is known to frequent the area of Summer Avenue and Highland Avenue in Newark.

In a separate case, 15-year-old Karla Lopez from Orange has been missing since March 24, 2024.
She was last seen leaving a restaurant on Ferry Street near Congress Street in Newark after a disagreement with a family member.
Karla is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black vest, gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and white Jordan sneakers.
She is known to frequent areas of Stuyvesant Avenue near South Orange Avenue and Bruen Avenue near Springfield Avenue in Irvington.

In a more recent incident, 11-year-old Lushawn Smith Jr. was reported missing on October 7, 2025.
He was last seen on October 6 in the 100 block of Jelliff Avenue in Newark.
Lushawn is African American, 4 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 95 pounds, and was wearing black and purple Jordan sneakers at the time of his disappearance.
He is known to spend time at Nat Turner Park on Irvine Turner Boulevard and along 18th Avenue near Central High School.
